My research in a nutshell

I am interested in the use of technology to improve cardiovascular health and research.


I give a lecture on Atrial Fibrillation for the 4th-year undergraduate Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Therapeutics course.


Dr Catherine Stables did her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) at the University of Cambridge. She then spent a year teaching English in Nanjing, China, before undertaking her PhD in Cardiovascular Science at King's College London under the supervision of Dr Michael Curtis. She spent 6 years doing postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan before moving to Edinburgh.
