I am a Daphne Jackson Fellow at The University of Edinburgh in the Institute of Quantitative Biology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology.

My research background is in Molecular Biology and Genetics. In completing my PhD I carried out research into the association of X chromosome inactivation in autoimmune diseases.

My current research aims to Understand activation of glutamate neuroreceptors for neurodevelopmental disorders treatment.

I work on AMPA receptor mutant that causes rare and complex neurodevelopmental disorders characterised by seizures, learning difficulties and delayed development.
