Personal profile


Chloe Fawns-Ritchie is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Questionnaire Officer on the Generation Scotland project. She leads the development of the online questionnaires administered to Generation Scotland participants. Her research focuses on the psychological correlates and predictors of health.

Previously, she worked as the cognitive testing officer in the Centre for Cognitive Ageing and Cognitive Epidemiology, and helped to develop the cognitive assessments used in UK Biobank and the Healthy AGeing In Scotland (HAGS) study.

Research Interests

  • Understanding the association between cognitive function and health and financal literacy
  • Determining the role that cognitive function plays in the relationship between health literacy with health outcomes.
  • Identifying psychological correlates of health.
