Biography
David is a Reader in Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. He is a translational researcher interested in physical recovery after critical illness, and specifically, the potential role of unresolved systemic inflammation in the recovery of muscle function. He is Chief Investigator for the NIHR/MRC funded INTACT2 trial and Programme Director for the MSc in Critical Care.
