Research Interests

Dr Davies Adeloye is a medical doctor and epidemiologist. He obtained his PhD in 2014 at the University of Edinburgh under the Charles Darwin International Studentship. Davies returned to Nigeria to lead a small group in the epidemiology of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), focussing on Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. He recently developed NCDs data profile for Nigeria, a project commissioned by the WHO and Nigerian health ministry. He is a recipient of a number of awards including the US Carnegie fellowship, AACR and AORTIC leadership institute awards. He is currently Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Health Reports. He has developed interest in chronic respiratory diseases, and currently works on the RESPIRE project.
