Research Interests

My research is focussed on understanding the mechanisms that regulate endometrial function and how these can become dysregulated in common reproductive disorders that affect millions of women. I investigate how signalling molecules called hormones can act within tissues to change the function of key cell types that are important for fertility and reproductive function.

Current Research Interests

  • Regulation of immune cell function by sex steroid hormones
  • Characterisation of endometrial macrophages during menstruation
  • Investigating the Translational Potential of SARMs as a Novel Therapeutic in Women
  • Developing new approaches for diagnosing and monitoring women’s reproductive health disorders
