Biography

I am currently a Lecturer in Biomedical AI at the University of Edinburgh. 

My research focuses on medical image analysis and computer vision with a major interest on image registration, multi-modal image analysis, and radiomics.

I got my Ph.D. in Information Technology (Computer Science and Engineering) from Politecnico di Milano with a thesis entitled "On How to Optimize Medical Image Analysis: the Chimera Approach". Before that I got my M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a M.Sc. in BioEngineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
