Erik Tomusk's research centres on developing rigorous methods for designing and analysing heterogeneous processors, with a particular focus on processors that are subject to variable runtime requirements and constraints.

Erik Tomusk holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons, 1st class) in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the University of Surrey, and a PhD in Computing Systems Architecture from the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. He has worked on high-speed SerDes at Texas Instruments and on hardware acceleration at ARM.
