Biography

I have practiced as a clinical psychologist in the NHS for more than 25 years.  I continue to work as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in NHS Grampian,  primarily in cancer and palliative care, and am currently the National Clinical Lead for the Macmillan Psychological Support Project. As a part-time lecturer in clinical psychology, my main research interests are  intervetions to improve the psychological well-being of those affected by cancer and in palliative care, in particular third wave CBT;  NHS leadership and  teams and the role of psychologists in supporting NHS staff wellbeing.
