  • Edinburgh Type 2 Diabetes Study - study of risk factors for age-related cognitive impairment and vascular complications in people with type 2 diabetes
  • UCLEB Programme in Applied and Translational Cardiovascular Genomics - a collaboration of major UK-based prospective studies studying the use of Mendelian Randomisation to assess causality of biomarkers in vascular and vascular-related chronic disease
  • Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and progressive liver fibrosis in type 2 diabetes - a prospective study of the frequency and risk factors for liver disorders in people with type 2 diabetes
  • Aspirin for vascular disease - on-going collaborations following completion of the AAA (Aspirin for Asymptomatic Atherosclerosis) Trial
  • Cochrane Collaboration Review Group on Peripheral Vascular Diseases -production of systematic reviews on the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease, venous disease and abdominal aortic aneurysm
