Biography

John is a PhD Candidate at the School of Geosciences, University of Edinburgh working under the supervision of Dr. Gary Watmough. His current research is aimed at quantifying livestock diets for improved estimation of greenhouse gas emissions from livestock systems. John has over eight years work experience in agricultural research and development in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and South America. Previously, he worked as a geospatial analyst at Alliance Bioversity International and CIAT. He holds a Master's in Climate Change Adaptation from University of Nairobi and a Bachelor's in Geography from Moi University in Kenya.
