Personal profile

Biography

I'm a Career Development Fellow: International Development in the Centre of African Studies, School of Social and Political Sciences, with a focus on political ecologies of conservation and extraction, the future of international development, and digital eduction. Previously I was post-doctoral researcher on the OxChain project, exploring the implications of blockchain technology for Oxfam, and taught Frontiers in Human Geography: Development and Social Nature in the Institute of Geography in Edinburgh. I studied my PhD in human Geography at the University of Edinburgh, undertaking field research in Mozambique. I teach as part of the online MSc in International Development in the Centre of African Studies, and have an interest in teaching research skills in distance learning contexts.
