Biography

I was born in Bogotá, Colombia. I am a sound Engineer and I have a master's degree in Sound and Music Computing. I received a DAAD research grant to pursue my doctoral studies in Germany. My PhD project was in the field of ECG sonification. At present, I am a part of the COG-MHEAR project and I work in audio-visual enhancement in the area of Hearing Aids. 

Research Interests

My main research focus is in the area of audio applications in Healthcare. In my PhD I developed ECG sonification methods to support diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac pathologies. At present, I work in the field of audio-visual enhancement for Hearing Aids.
