My research in a nutshell

I am Dr. Luca Cassetta, 

a highly experienced research fellow with extensive knowledge of human myeloid cell biology applied to different human diseases. 

My particular strengths are in human macrophage biology, clinical material handling, multicolor flow cytometry and genomic wide studies. 

I have proven over the years of my career the ability to successfully transfer skills between disciplines and I have a strong record of publishing in peer reviewed journals.

My main scientific interest is the study of human Tumor Associated Macrophages in solid tumors and the modulation of the tumor microenviroment in combination with immunotherapy.
