Mohammed E. Sayed is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Robotics for Extreme Environments in The School of Engineering at The University of Edinburgh. He is part of the Soft Systems Group at the university. The group focuses on the use a wide range of bioinspired engineering approaches to tackle the most challenging issues in different research areas. Mohammed has a wide range of interests including Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Bioinspired Engineering, Robotics for Extreme Environments (Offshore and Nuclear), Soft Robotics, Swarm Robotics, Modular Robotics, Embedded Systems, Electronics, Sensor Networks, Multi-Sensor Fusion, Microfluidics, Distributed Systems, Biosensors, Bioelectronics.
