Biography

My postdoctoral fellowship at the School of Divinity is sponsored by the Issachar Fund for researching the themes of gratitude and loyalty in Christianity and Islam. My primary research is on the Gospel of Mark and how compositional practices in Second Temple Judaism can help explain the emergence of the Gospel form. My first book, Writing with Scripture: Scripturalized Narrative in the Gospel of Mark, is forthcoming with Bloomsbury T&T Clark in the LNTS series.
