Personal profile

Research Interests

My main research focus is on shifting transport and land use policies to improve human and environmental health and wellbeing in cities. This work is in response to ongoing crises such as climate change, the increasing cost of living, and intersecting social inequities. I approach this research from a critical geographical perspective and through multiple methods including GIS, statistical analysis, interviews, and focus groups. This research is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Additional research interests include mobilities, public transport, population change, urbanisation, and urban history.
