Personal profile

Biography

I worked for six years as a full-time physical education teacher (2003-2009) before joining the Moray House School of Education (2009-present). My main research interests are closely aligned with my experiences as a teacher and focus on three main topics: conceptions of pedagogy, teacher-pupil interaction, and naturalistic inquiry. I use the findings from naturalistic inquiry, together with various conceptions of pedagogy, to paint a dynamic account of teacher-pupil interaction in schools.
