Personal profile

Research Interests

I am primarily an observational astronomer studying the formation and evolution of galaxies. Currently my research is focused on determining the physical properties of the first galaxies to form in the early history of the Universe. The goal of this research is to improve our understanding of the earliest phases of galaxy evolution and to unveil the sources responsible for the re-ionization of the Universe some 13 billion years ago.

Teaching

Observational Astronomy course coordinator (3rd year undergraduate)

Observation Astronomy Lecturer

Astrophysics Lecturer
