Personal profile

Biography

I am a Research Fellow and data scientist working at the intersection of AI-driven engineering, digital twins, and physics-informed data modelling, with applications in renewable energy systems, structural health monitoring, and environmental hydraulics. My work focuses on designing scalable end-to-end data pipelines and machine learning methods for high-value engineering assets, enabling improved reliability, predictive maintenance, and decision support under uncertainty.

Current focus
I develop and deploy data-driven models for the FastBlade full-scale composite tidal turbine blade testing facility, including: anomaly detection, optimal sensor placement, control-oriented modelling, and digital twin components for structural fatigue testing and asset monitoring.

Previous research
My earlier research addressed river morphodynamics and hydrology, including data-driven and statistical-physics approaches for long-term simulation of meandering river evolution and for automated classification of meander-bend geometries.
