Current Research Interests

My research is critical and interdisciplinary, currently focused on higher education futures, utopia and theories of ‘enhancement’. Alongside colleagues, I work at the forefront of new practices in digital teaching.

I am Director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education and Assistant Principal Education Futures.

I am not currently taking new PhD students – please check back towards the end of 2025.

I only accept PhD students who want to work on critical digital education, education futures and utopia, and am only able to respond to queries from potential applicants working within these specific areas.
