Biography
I am a European specialist in veterinary public health and population medicine, with an MSc in Public Health Research and a PhD in Veterinary Epidemiology and Parasitology. I am currently a Chancellor’s fellow at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and the Roslin Institute of the University of Edinburgh.
Research Interests
My research focuses on understanding drivers and improving control of zoonotic diseases. My research experience includes design, execution and analysis of complex epidemiological studies in tropical settings especially in Sub-Saharan Africa and India as well as the UK.
Current Research Interests
My Chancellor's fellowship focuses on using a mixed-methods approach to address key challenges towards elimination of canine-mediated human rabies deaths.
