Individual Differences - Theory, Measurement & Application
In my current role I am investigating the associations between various brain imaging variables and cognitive ability/cognitive decline in later life as part of the Lothian Birth Cohort 1936.
My doctoral research focussed on structural and measurement issues in normal range human personality.
More generally I am interested in quantitative methods (particularly latent variable models and scaling methods), psychometrics, the structure, measurement and application of models of personality (normal/"abnormal") and intelligence, group differences, life course development and decay of individual difference constructs, education and evolutionary theory.
