Biography
Yi Song is a PhD candidate in Film Studies at the University of Edinburgh, funded by the Edinburgh Doctoral College Scholarship (2024-2028). Her current project focuses on self-exposure and vulnerability in contemporary women filmmakers' works. Her research interests include visual art, ethics, French philosophy, queer theory and gender studies.
