Prize: Prize (including medals and awards)

The proposed work is to estimate the spatial correlation of COVID-19 incidence across the University of Edinburgh halls of residence with the use of Log Gaussian Cox Process models. The study will also investigate the question of whether there is a higher reported incidence of COVID-19 positivity in University halls which are ensuite.

This is a relatively small-scale study, but the intention is that once this study is completed, funding will be sought to expand the study to Scottish wide data.

The award body is the Edinburgh Futures Institute (£2500)
