Score for her and My voice is still lost

In September 2016 I was commissioned to create a solo performance for concert at the Cibelo Concert Hall in Madrid by the research group Reef (Arrecife). The concert is part of a year long series whereby artists are selected by researchers who's practice reflects elements of their research. The researcher, Maria Andueza, chose my work as it explored similar topics about gender, place and identity that are in her practice. The concert was free and open to the public.

The first work Score for Her was a new performance piece composed specifically for this concert. As a result of this performance I have been commissioned to perform it at a number of concerts in the UK, China and Brazil. The second work was an installation placed within the concert, and was a commission for the Irish Biennale in 2016.
