A pilot feasibility study of an Alcohol Brief Intervention for male remand prisoners: The APPRAISE Study

Project Details

Layman's description

The study is interested in finding out whether an Alcohol Brief Intervention (ABI), which has been designed to give specific alcohol advice and information, is feasible and acceptable in a prison setting for men on remand. In addition, we are interested in finding out what key stakeholders think are the barriers and facilitators to the ABI working well.

The information we collect will help us plan a larger study to identify the effectiveness of an ABI for male remand prisoners.
