Layman's description
Centre for Data, Culture & Society (CDCS) funded project (£3441) to develop first global corpus of humanitarian news (2010-2020), with a view to analysing it using computational and manual methods. A key area of investigation is the extent to which Calhoun's famous 'emergency imaginary' really does dominate this kind of media discourse, and its geographical distribution around the world.
