EXAFS analysis of sediments from Blackford Pond following incubation for several weeks after addition of nanoparticulate silver and ZnO
Key findings
Both Ag and ZnO nanoparticles were rapidly transformed to sulphides due to the presence of reactive sulphide in the sediment.
