Project Details

Description

CSO-funded fellowship project: an observational study to investigate anxiety subtypes, anxiety-provoking stimuli and diagnostic accuracy of anxiety screening tools to inform intervention development

Layman's description

In over 200 research interviews with people after their stroke and TIA, we identified the common anxiety-provoking situations and stimuli.

Key findings

The findings helped us develop innovative web-based treatments to help people overcome their anxiety issues after stroke. We will be testing these treatments in our upcoming TASK clinical trial.
