A programme of interdisciplinary research examining the ways in which digital innovations and data may be used to strengthen health systems, both in terms of delivering more accessible, effective and equitable care and through supporting 'good governance' through greater transparency and accountability.

Layman's description

This programme of research (and teaching) is focused on improving healthcare in low and middle income countries with the aid of digital technologies, including information systems, mobile devices and new methods of data analysis. This includes at technologies for delivering healthcare services, for enabling citizens to look after their health and to support the effective and ethical management of health organisations.
