Description
The studentship will explore the impact of management of urban greenspaces on pollinator diversity. The approach will incorproate variation in planted seed mixes and in intensity/cost of management, measuring variation in floral rewards (nectar, pollen) and associated variation in the diversity and abundance of pollinaotr groups. The aim is to provide information that will allow assembly of seed mixes for urban planting schemes with enhanced biodiversity value.
