Establishing and implementing a framework for assessing the social impact of local and community energy

This project will translate into practice the insights gained from recent and ongoing research at the University of Edinburgh, to improve, and broaden, the evaluation of government-funded local and community energy (LCE) projects. By bringing together, and working collaboratively with, LCE policymakers, community practitioners, fund managers, and researchers, the project partners will facilitate the coproduction and implementation of a measurement framework to assess the social impacts of LCE projects which meets the needs and expectations of all stakeholders.
