Project Details
Description
1. To forge international partnerships with individuals and groups working in the space between the humanities and business studies at leading institutions through workshops, visits by prominent scholars and a field-defining conference.
2. To collaborate with partners to secure large-scale funding from international sources to study the relationship between the humanities and business in historical and contemporary contexts.
3. To co-author with partners a landmark book for a major international university press entitled Human-Business: Work at the Interface of Business and the Humanities. Destined to be widely read and cited, the book will be a manifesto for a new paradigm in the ways in which business and the humanities alike are researched, taught and practised.
4. To design interdisciplinary programmes of postgraduate teaching and research across the humanities and business studies
5. To impact accounting and investment professionals, in business, government and professional institutes, in reframing and redesigning economic representations of value that make more transparent social costs and benefits.
