This study will elucidate changes and continuities in the production of Indigenous ceramics in Mexico in the wake of colonisation. Archaeometric analyses of a sample of pottery from excavated Indigenous households stand to reveal how Native families adopted ceramics imported from Europe and/or produced local imitations of them.
