Description
The aim of this study is to investigate the diagnostic accuracy of LiverMultiScanTM in assessing rodent models of liver disease:
- Fibrosis/cirrhosis (carbon tetrachloride model)
- Steatosis/NASH (MCD diet model)
Two key questions are:
1) Can LiverMultiScanTM be used to accurately measure liver fibrosis and steatosis in preclinical models, as compared to the gold standard of liver histology?
2) Can LiverMultiScanTM discriminate between different stages of fibrosis/steatosis in longitudinal disease models?
