An award-wining theatre production based on the living memories of Shakerkhanu Lakinisky, a ninety-year old elder of Vancouver’s Ismaili community. The production was performed in conjunction with a visiting textile exhibition from Gujarat, India, as well as re-adapted for a live broadcast on CBC radio, Canada’s national public radio. Funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, British Columbia Arts Council, City of Vancouver, and Vancouver Foundation.
