European Media Policies Revisited: Valuing and Reclaiming Free and Independent Media in Contemporary Democratic Systems
Layman's description
MEDIADEM, a European research project on media policy-making processes in EU member states and candidate countries, identified the policy processes, tools and instruments can best support the development of free and independent media. It was funded by the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme and was coordinated by the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy. The project started on 1 April 2010 and lasted for three years.
