Project Details
Description
Approximately 1.2 billion people continue to live without access to electricity. This project aims to ensure that accelerating access to clean, affordable energy in low income countries across Sub Saharan Africa and South does not come at the cost of social justice/equity. The project extends the impact of current University of Edinburgh led energy access projects; deepens partnerships for research and impact; and lays the ground for a suite of future GCRF funding applications.
