Population genomics of two commonly traded Australian cockatoo species and the invasive common myna.

This PhD project led by Kyle Ewart at the Australian Museum is applying population genomic approaches to study the evolutionary history and contemporary population structure in native Australian bird species subject to the illegal wildlife trade. The research will generate molecular tools for applications to wildlife DNA forensic investigations.
