RAFT - Mapping Maker Spaces in Edinburgh

The Making Edinburgh map is a project initiated by the RAFT research group in ECA (https://www.eca.ed.ac.uk/research/raft), co-chaired by Kettley. This has been funded by the ECA Research Group project fund to research and create a map of the ecologies of diverse making spaces and communities across Edinburgh. The intention is to benefit different cohorts of students, academics, and professionals, across diverse material communities. The intention is to support practice-based doctoral students and early-career researchers at ECA, as well as to enrich and facilitate the materially-informed research of all RAFT research group members, creating a platform for knowledge exchange and potential for the development of a shared ecology of resources for all.
