Research Partnership in Intermediality Studies with Meiji University, Tokyo

Project Details

Description

As part of this collaborative project, we plan to organise two events yearly, one in Tokyo in the winter and one in Edinburgh in the Summer; these events will bring together PG students, scholars/researchers and art practitioners, with an academic workshop on the first day, and a second day focusing on practice/impact. The workshops will lead to joint academic publications.
In the long term, we are hoping that this initiative will also lead to joint grant applications.
This research partnership ties in with the new "MSc in Intermediality: Literature, Film and the Arts in Dialogue" (launching in Sept. 2021) and the "Intermediality" research strand, both based in LLC.
