This secondment aims to create impact from recent research which has highlighted the need for companies to closely work with all actors from society to enable the highly interactive approach of the circular economy. Dr. Kathi Kaesehage will be placed at Volovo Construction, a company which is world-leading in implementing climate change-related solutions across its business and highly experienced in working closely with research institutions/academics. The secondments should allow Volvo to identify the different actors that are needed to establish circular business models within its company and receive a more differentiated understanding of the different actor’s motivations to partake. This secondment is essential for understanding how companies can understand and enable their transition towards the circular economy and will contribute to the Industrial Strategy Theme Circular Industry.
