Waterworks: labour, infrastructure and the technopolitics of water in Mexico City

Project Details

Description

A 10-year research project that explored the technopolitics of water in Mexico City through ethnography. The project began with PhD (LSE) and continued in my subsequent work. Throughout, I accompanied work crews in the Mexico City water utility to better understand the role that labour plays in maintaining water flow and reproducing forms of power and difference in the city.
