Layman's description
This iTPA project represents a preliminary phase of a research endeavour investigating how reading and writing activities affect the reading process, literacy practices/engagement, and wellbeing. This overall project will lead, among other outputs, to the codevelopment of a creative reading and writing mobile app tentatively called ReWriter and to the investigation of its capacity to improve literacy and wellbeing for young people at a critical stage of development. In this preliminary phase, we will work with app developers, literacy organisations, and a team of young people to coproduce a working prototype of the mobile app, developing the skills, methods, and relationships that will establish critical foundations for the larger research endeavour and the design, development, and dissemination of the full ReWriter app.
