3D printing of tissue equivalent phantoms for diffuse optical tomography

Abstract

We present a method for 3D printing tissue equivalent phantoms. Transmission of a clear printer resin was characterised in the near-infrared. Scattering pigment was added to the resin and used to 3D print a phantom with μs' = 0.74 mm-1 at 800 nm.
