Abstract

Fifth generation (5G) wireless networks will help to support a revolution in healthcare, supporting more effective and lower cost medical services [1,2]. Ubiquitous wireless communications can help to enable smart medical data collection and processing, more efficient and timely medical interventions and enable robotic systems to support clinicians effectively in their daily work.
