Abstract

The recent breakthrough in the measurement of new examples of proton radioactivity around Z = 69 - 75 has made use of a novel detection system based around a new double-sided silicon strip detector. In this paper we describe the detection system and the correlation technique used to identify low cross section proton decay peaks.
