Abstract / Description of output
Invited to participate in a curated group exhibition in the Le Dame Art Gallery, Regents Park, London. For this exhibition I presented Balancing Act which is a portrait of a head balancing a large Bishop's Mitre made from straw. The head has been painted using CMYK ink and the mitre has been partially coated with gold leaf and semi precious gems. The wooden crate used for transportation doubled up as a plinth for the work and continues my interest in sustainable artworks.
