Abstract / Description of output

In article number 2300251 Gabrielis Cerniauskas and Parvez Alam present a novel approach to developing mechanical metamaterials by projecting 3D geometrical shadows of 4th dimensional objects. The work introduces a new class of cubically symmetrical mechanical metamaterials that exhibit superior properties of specific stiffness and strength when compared to more conventional structures such as gyroids and honeycombs.
